One more soldier from Vani died in Afghanistan

Junior Sergeant Lavrosi Ivaniadze served in Helmand Province in the 33rd battalion of the ISAF peacekeeping mission. Ivaniadze died during the patrolling after an explosion on a mine.
Lavrosi Ivaniadze had been serving in Georgian armed forces since 2005. In 2007-2008 he served in the peacekeeping mission in Iraq as well.
We want to remind you that in February, 2011, village Tsikhesulori resident Giorgi Avaliani also died in Afghanistan as the result of an explosion on a mine.
Lavrosi Ivaniadze’s body was transferred to his native village on May 27.
